WEEK 18

This week we focused and progressed on three main plains in parallel:

1.The design

After a conversation with Noa and Andrei, the designer of the lab, about the difficulties we have in the design of the product and it's operation, we realized that we need to simplify the product and to work on a new design that unites the input and output element of consumption through the same element - the light.

We decided to change the design and created a new version of Pingi.

2. The technological side

This week we created the working interface with an RTC controller and were able to passively sample for a pre-set time.

We continued to work on improving the indication from the LED lights.

3.User tests

Beside the changes we made, we made more user tests in which we focused mainly on the cards and the meter and came to the conclusion that the cards must also contain elements that explain why it is necessary to save electricity, and changed the language according to the feedback we received from children and parents.

In addition, we came to the conclusion that in order to answer the meter, the family needs an explain which devices consume the most energy in the house.

This week's changes were significant and the parallel work on the three plains improved the product on several levels.
